SharkBite 24983A Push-to-Connect Stop Tee, 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 In.

The SharkBite 24983A is a push-to-connect stop tee that combines a SharkBite tee fitting with a 1/4 in. compression line and integrated quarter-turn valve. This innovative fitting simplifies plumbing by allowing you to tap into existing supply lines and add new fixtures or appliances without soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. It's an efficient solution for both professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts working on new installations or upgrades.

The tee stop is particularly useful for adding supply lines to dishwashers, humidifiers, ice makers, and water dispensers. It also serves as a reliable alternative to traditional saddle valves. The integrated quarter-turn valve provides easy on/off control of the supply line, and the rotatable design allows for quick adjustments even in tight spaces after installation, ensuring a watertight seal and hassle-free setup.
