SharkBite 24636LF Frost-Free Sillcock, 1/2 x 3/4 In x 12 In

A frost-free sillcock is an outdoor faucet designed to protect your plumbing from freezing damage while providing convenient water access for lawn sprinklers, garden hoses, and patio cleaning. This SharkBite model combines innovative push-to-connect technology with integrated safety features, making it an ideal choice for reliable outdoor water connections in cold climates.

The frost-free design keeps water from freezing inside the valve by locating the multi-turn shut-off valve at the inlet, allowing the supply line to drain when the water is turned off. The integrated vacuum breaker and backflow prevention system help protect against potential back pressure and contaminated water flowing back into the main water line.

Features and Benefits

• Push-to-Connect Inlet: The 1/2 inch inlet is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes, providing fast and easy installation in tight spaces and reducing installation errors.
• Frost-Free Protection: The inlet shut-off allows the supply line to drain, protecting the valve in freezing conditions.
• Durable Brass Body: A rugged construction rated for 125 psi pressure ensures reliable performance in outdoor environments.
• Integrated Backflow Prevention: Built-in vacuum breaker prevents backflow and protects against contaminated water.
• 3/4 Inch Hose Thread Outlet: Connects directly to standard garden hoses for immediate use.
• Integrated Mounting Flange: Secures the sillcock firmly to your wall or mounting surface for stable installation.
