Rapala J07G Jointed Floating Minnow Lure, Gold, 2-3/4 In.

The Rapala Jointed Floating Minnow Lure is a classic articulated fishing lure designed to mimic the natural, distressed swimming action of a wounded baitfish. The lure's jointed, broken-back body generates a distinctive wobble that appeals to gamefish, making it an effective choice for anglers seeking to trigger strikes from otherwise disinterested fish.

The Jointed is particularly valuable after cold fronts when fish are finicky and reluctant to feed. Its slow-speed swimming action makes it the ideal choice during these challenging conditions, allowing you to work the lure methodically through different water columns without sacrificing effectiveness. The lure's versatility extends to depth—you can fish it from top to bottom, exploring varied habitats and structures without needing to change baits.

Features and Benefits

• Articulated Jointed Body: The broken-back construction produces a natural wobble and erratic swimming motion that mimics distressed baitfish, attracting aggressive strikes.
• Hand-Tuned and Tank-Tested: Each lure is individually tuned and tested in tanks to ensure perfect swimming action straight out of the box, with no adjustments needed.
• Effective at Slow Speeds: Delivers enticing action even when retrieved slowly, making it ideal for cold-water situations and selective fish.
• Balsa Wood Construction with VMC Hooks: Built with balsa wood and equipped with VMC black nickel hooks for reliable performance.
• Depth Versatility: Floats and can be worked from surface to bottom, allowing exploration of different water zones in a single outing.
