Presto 09978 Pressure Cooker Regulator, Gray

The Presto 09978 Pressure Cooker Regulator is an essential replacement part for compatible pressure cookers manufactured after 1957. This regulator fits onto the vent pipe and serves two critical functions: it indicates when 15 lb pressure is reached and controls pressure in the unit. A gentle rocking motion of the regulator signals that proper cooking pressure is being sustained, giving you visual confirmation that your pressure cooker is operating safely and efficiently.

A worn or damaged regulator can compromise your pressure cooker's performance and safety. This replacement part ensures your pressure cooker maintains the correct 15 PSI pressure level throughout the cooking cycle, keeping the unit operating within safe parameters. If your regulator has become worn or damaged, or if you need a spare, this genuine Presto part restores full functionality to your cooker.
