Mrs. Wages WGCC060000 Citric Acid, Granular, 12 oz Jar

Mrs. Wages Citric Acid is a food-grade powder designed to raise acidity and lower pH when canning. Although tomatoes are generally thought of as high-acid fruits, some varieties have higher pH levels that make them more susceptible to the spores of Clostridium botulinum. Adding citric acid to your canning recipes helps preserve these foods safely, ensuring your homemade jams, pickles, sauces, and other preserved goods remain shelf-stable and flavorful.

This fine, white crystalline powder dissolves quickly and delivers consistent acidity that enhances flavor while extending shelf life. Whether you're a seasoned home canner or just starting your preservation journey, citric acid provides reliable, natural acidulation without harsh chemicals, helping you achieve safe storage of fruits, vegetables, and sauces with vibrant colors, crisp textures, and fresh taste.
