Carlon B1MGEXT-2 Box Extender, 3-1/4 in L, 2-1/4 in W, 1-Gang, PVC, Blue

A two-pack PVC electrical box extender solves a common remodeling problem: when walls are built up or extended, existing electrical boxes can sit too deep behind the new wall surface. These extenders fit between the wiring device and the wall surface to bring boxes flush with the wall.

The extenders work with single or multiple gang nonmetallic electrical boxes and all standard wiring devices. Each extender extends the box forward by up to 1-1/8 inches, making them useful for remodeling projects where wall depth changes.

Features and Benefits

• Fits Multiple Gang Configurations: Works seamlessly with both single and multiple gang nonmetallic electrical boxes.
• Extends Up to 1-1/8 Inches: Provides enough extension to correct problems where the wall surface is extended.
• Works with Standard Wiring Devices: Compatible with all standard wiring devices.
• Includes Mounting Hardware: Package includes two extenders and four #6-32 mounting screws for secure installation.
• UL Listed and Code Compliant: Meets UL 655A standards and complies with NEC Article 370-20 for safety and reliability.
